Dream is a best-of-class unified ledger accounting system i.e. it was created from the ground up as a dedicated financial software solution that integrates easily with other business systems and was designed to cover a far broader and deeper range of accounting functions than you would find in the accounts module of a multipurpose ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.
Unified ledger
Dream is structured around a single, unified ledger, providing the core nominal, purchase, sales and cash ledgers; additional ledgers that may be applicable to your business, administrative purchasing, fixed asset accounting and reporting. Unlike modular systems, the ledgers in Dream do not exist separately but are held within one combined database.
User-defined input
The freedom to design your own screens.
One of Dream’s most popular, unique features is the “User Defined Input” or UDI. This allows you to define input screens as you require, for example, to mimic simple invoice entry screens or even complex multi-ledger input. UDIs ensure quick familiarity with the system and minimise training needs, making sure a team will feel more comfortable and familiar with the system from day one.

Providing fast and controlled access to key procurement functions, helping to keep administrative costs low and opening up the benefits of controlled, online purchasing from chosen suppliers.

Budgeting and forecasting
Dream provides unlimited comparative budgeting and forecasting options. Budgets and forecasts can be held for all levels of analysis and are available for comparative reporting at all levels of reporting.
Budget virements and changes are processed as transactions, providing a full audit trail of budget movements. Budgets can be modelled in DreamView, utilising actuals from prior years if necessary and posted directly back to Dream.
Multi-currency
Dream is a true multi-currency system. Dual currency accounting automatically mirrors all transactions and balances in your chosen alternate currency. A single transaction line can involve up to six separate currency values; document currency, account currency, nominal currency, home currency, alternate home currency and second account currency.
